At Bali Spearfishing and Freediving, we offer a one-of-a-kind 3-level spearfishing training system, the first of its kind in Bali. Our Level 1, 2, and 3 courses are designed to take you from beginner to advanced spearfisher, with each level focusing on progressively deeper dives and more advanced skills. Our system combines freediving theory and practice with spearfishing techniques, ensuring you gain the knowledge and hands-on experience to thrive in the water.
Safety and awareness are at the core of our training. We emphasize proper techniques, depth limits, and critical safety practices to ensure that you can spearfish confidently and responsibly. Our courses include first aid and freediving rescue skills, empowering you to take care of both yourself and your dive buddy. We believe in sustainable spearfishing practices, focusing on responsible hunting, and ensuring that every participant understands the importance of conservation. This is not about trophy hunting, and while catching fish isn't guaranteed, you will learn to spearfish ethically and safely.
One day Spearfishing basics
Our One Day Spearfishing Course is a fast-paced introduction designed for those with a strong freediving or diving background. The day begins with a morning of theory and safety, followed by an afternoon spearfishing trip in the waters around Amed, Bali. This course is ideal for experienced divers looking to quickly transition into spearfishing. If you're new to freediving or breath-hold diving, we highly recommend our 2-day course, which focuses on building the essential freediving skills that are the foundation of safe and successful spearfishing.
